It can be so disappointing to find a lovely greeting card blank, create a beautiful piece of wedding stationery and then find the nearest envelope size you can get is far too large or a disappointingly tight squeeze.
At The Handcrafted Card Company we have always ensured that when you purchase our greeting card and invitation card blanks you know that the envelopes we sell will be appropriate for the board size - roomy enough to allow for an embellishment or two but not remotely too big. We advise which envelope will be suitable for which board size in our product descriptions.
Our presentation boxes for your wedding invitations add the 'wow' factor. They can be mailed in their own right or tied with sumptuous ribbons for a real impact and handed to your guests.
If you do not want envelopes; scroll postal boxes are an effective and dramatic way to present scroll invitations, and our gorgeous metallic bubble mailers will delight any recipient.

There are so many beautiful products on the market now we have tried to select the most beautiful, classic papers, and the best and most appropriately coloured and themed papers for customers wanting to make their own wedding stationery.
Mulberry papers, vellums, beautifully embroidered papers, papers with crinkles; papers with sparkle, decoratively printed papers, papers with marbling .. .we've got the lot!
As printing and papermaking technology advances the opportunities to use vellum and more unusual papers successfully for invitation inserts, greeting card overlays and scrapbooking projects become greater and greater.
No decorative paper is sold in packs of more than a few sheets; some papers can be purchased in single sheets allowing you the flexibility to view a variety of products before purchasing in greater quantity. Also, sometimes, one sheet is all that is required!

Ribbons are ideal for wedding crafts from making wedding invitations with rhinestone diamante buckles to decorating favour boxes with favour ribbons.
Ribbons can carry the wedding colour theme through from the Bridesmaid's dresses or the colour of the flowers by incorporating them into all aspects of the wedding, simple bows on wedding invitations, orders of service and table stationery right through to place settings, table decorations and chair dressing at the wedding reception.
We stock ribbon supplies from several manufacturers including 'Club Green', 'Berisfords' and 'Selectus' (Signature Ribbons) with both Berisfords and Signature ribbons woven and spooled in the UK.
Our ribbons offer something for everyone whatever the budget and our range is constantly expanding with many 'difficult to find' ribbon colours available. If you have a particular ribbon colour requirement please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to advise.
Our ribbons and cords are sold by the roll (please check in our descriptions how many metres are available on a roll) with a sample swatch service available for almost all of our ribbons.

We've tried to focus on the different needs you have when approaching a craft project or making your own wedding stationery - there's nothing more frustrating in the middle of a project than realizing you have not got the correct type of glue for the job or you're missing an essential craft tool.
We have a superb section of tools, everything from tweezers to heat tools, craft knives to embossing tools. We always try to offer practical advice and the products frequently have excellent 'user' guides.
A whole department dedicated to craft glues and adhesives will ensure you are well equipped with the correct type of adhesive for your craft or wedding stationery project from glue dots, glue lines, vellum bond, etc. If you are looking to find the right adhesive for sticking the inserts into your DIY wedding stationery inserts then look no further !
Look no further if you require beautiful pens for general use, calligraphy or for embossed text. We are pleased to introduce a new range of DIY table plans for wedding seating plans and other special occasions. With apertures from 7 to 12 tables (including the top table) our framed table plans are available in gold, champagne silver and latte colours. We are sure that our DIY table plan kits will help you with your special event. In our DIY Wedding Favours department you will be able to find a large selection of wedding favours, including wedding favour boxes and organza bags.
Most of our wedding favour boxes are made in Italy from the finest Italian boards others are made exclusively for The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd all are easy to assemble, with no need for glues or tapes. Truly versatile the boxes can not only be used for wedding favours but also many other special occasions such as Christenings, Milestone Birthdays, Parties and Anniversaries.
We have selected some lovely favour boxes including Square, Pillows (Bustinas), Chests, Pouches, Tuxedo and a funky Handbag design.
Wedding Favours are given by the couple as a thank you for sharing their special day in a tradition which originates from Italy where wedding favours are known as Bomboniere. Traditionally the favours contain 5 sugared almonds representing Health, Wealth, Happiness, Long Life and Fertility.
With such a large selection of DIY favours they can easily be coordinated with the theme and colour of the wedding or occasion and since they can be made such a long time in advance of the wedding they're the ideal DIY wedding craft product.
Wedding favour boxes and bags usually form part of the wedding table decoration but they can be used in many other ways for example given out by the Bridesmaids and Flower Girls or presented in favour trays or baskets.
While traditionally sugared almonds are used as the filling, it's becoming more usual to use different favour fillings for example chocolates, mints, love hearts, chocolate money, chocolate buttons, jelly sweets, dolly mixtures and non edible gifts. If you are using sugared almonds then around a kilo is enough for 40-50 wedding favours. It's also a nice idea to differentiate your guests so that the favour is personal to them, more simply you can choose different wedding favours for the ladies, men and children.

We have a selection of special occasion guest books (plain and decorated), albums and signing frames available all of which are suitable for many special occcasions, Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Silver Wedding Anniversaries and Christenings to name but a few. The plain guest books and albums can be embellished with craft embellishments from our craft shop to personalise them, but they look equally lovely just as they are.
A selection of our guest books are made exclusively for us in colours and tones to coordinate with the greeting card blanks that we supply in our online shop. If you're looking for something a little different let us know - we do our very best to help.
If you have enough room dedicate a table near the entry of your reception to hold the guestbook or signing frame, and nominate one of your ushers or a guest to make sure everyone leaves a message. It's a lovely way for your guests to leave thoughts for you on the day.
Signing frames for weddings (also known as signature frames) are proving to be a popular modern alternative to the traditional guest book. Available in silver, gold distressed ivory and black, the signing frame is displayed at the reception for your guests to sign. After your wedding, just add your favourite wedding photograph behind the mount, click in the perspex cover and you will have a lovely keepsake of your wedding day.
