Delivery Charges and Information Regarding Delivery• We do not have a minimum order value.
For UK mainland delivery our delivery charges are as follows:
• For small orders up to £10 in value postage is £2.25 inc VAT
• For orders over £10 and below £25 in value postage is £3.99 inc VAT
• For orders over £25 and below £60 postage is £4.99 inc VAT
• For orders over £60 in value postage is £6.99 inc VAT
• A 48hr 'signed for' option is available for all UK customers at a charge of £7 inc VAT irrespective of order value (please note that this is from the day of dispatch not the day of ordering
• For UK Mainland ‘Express Delivery’ please select the appropriate options on checkout and we will contact you, if for any reason, there is a problem with your order
* Delivery to certain areas eg Scottish Highlands and Islands may cost more or less than the delivery charge shown. We will contact you before dispatch - you may be asked for a supplement or given a partial refund if shipping is less.
• At this time we regret that cannot deliver to BFPO, HM Forces addresses
• Please note that our postage charge includes postage, packaging and labour and that some of our products are offered with free postage.
• The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd uses varying methods of delivery and is not responsible for any delay, non-delivery or loss or damage to goods once they have left our possession.
• Items will not be considered lost by the Royal Mail until 10 days after posting via First Class post, longer for standard parcel delivery. (Please see www.royalmail.com or visit your local post office for details) If the item has not arrived after 10 days from dispatch, please advise The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd in writing so that a claim can be filed with Royal Mail. We regret that replacement items cannot be dispatched until this time period has elapsed.
• The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd takes all reasonable precautions to make sure orders are addressed accurately and clearly before dispatch but if the customer enters an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, incorrect postcode etc, The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd cannot be held responsible if the goods go astray and any claims will not be entertained. Similarly if the customer requests the Royal Mail or Carrier to leave goods in a nominated place for example a door step, in a shed or anywhere else apart from through a letter-box, it is entirely at the customers risk.
• Some orders may require a signature on delivery. Should orders be returned to The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd due to a failed delivery for any reason (eg customer away on holiday, not collecting from a depot or Post Office in time) then a further postage fee will be required before the order can be dispatched again. Failing this a full refund will be given for the cost of the goods less the cost of the original postage.
• Our delivery aim is to dispatch as quickly as possible usually within 3 working days. All orders are processed in the order in which they are placed and there are no exceptions unless the customer has previously arranged or selected, when available, an express service option.
• Please note for orders placed during or near to a bank holiday and the Christmas period then the delivery of the order may be delayed accordingly.
• Please be aware that certain areas eg The Scottish Highlands and Islands may encounter longer delivery times and this is beyond our control.
• We deliver to the UK and Ireland only. High postage costs, excessive administration and the inability to be able to track overseas parcels has forced this decision.
If you do not live in the UK or Ireland and wish to order from us, we suggest that you have your parcel delivered to a friend or relative in the UK and have them send it on to you. Sorry but there no exceptions.
• If an order is dispatched in more than one part you will only be charged for delivery once
• Should you require your items urgently we offer an overnight delivery providing the product is in stock. At certain times you can choose this option at the checkout - if this is not available to you when you checkout then please contact us and we will do our very best to help
