Craft Shop Terms and ConditionsRefunds
If you are not satisfied with the goods received, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Goods must be returned as new and unused, within 14 days, for refund, less the cost of delivery.
Where goods are supplied in sealed packs or containers, the packs or containers must be unopened. The cost of, and safe return of the goods is the responsibility of the customer. We strongly advise you obtain proof of postage for returns, as we are not responsible for goods lost in transit.
In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty please contact us in writing in the first instance and we will arrange for replacement or refund, whichever the customer prefers.
You may cancel your order without giving a reason and return your goods within 7 working days for a full refund of all charges other than postage. Goods must be returned as new and unused. Please notify us in writing (not a phone call) by letter, email or fax. Refunds will be processed within 30 days.
Prices and VAT
All purchases are charged in UK Pounds Sterling. Craft Shop prices do not include VAT, which will be charged at 17.5% at the checkout.
The Handcrafted Card Company will try and keep price increases to a minimum however we reserve the right to apply any increases passed on to us by our
suppliers where necessary.
International Orders
The purchaser is responsible for postal charges and for any import duties and/or tax that may be levied by their own country. We do not remove VAT for overseas customers unless requested. |

Delivery Charges
- Minimum Order Value £10 + VAT (excluding Postage)
- UK Delivery will usually be by Royal Mail 1st class, but some heavier parcels may travel by courier or Parcel Force - please provide us with information when ordering where a parcel can be left if you are not in. Deliveries by Parcelforce or courier will require a signature.
- We offer several options for delivery including an express 24-hour service (mainland UK only) for goods in stock. Please ensure you select the correct delivery option - selection of the incorrect delivery option may require an additional payment. Please note we cannot guarantee the 24 hour service (we will inform you if the goods are not in stock) but rely on the carrier to deliver the goods on time.
- Please allow up to 7 days for delivery - although we aim to ship most orders within 48 hours. If we expect your order to take more than 7 days for any reason, we will always let you know.
- If any of our craft products are out of stock but due to arrive from our suppliers in the next few days, we may hold on to your order until these arrive. We will let you know about any significant delay and you can tell us if you wish to cancel that part of the order.
- If an order is dispatched in more than one part you will only be charged for delivery once.

Credit Card SecurityThe ordering system allows you to make several choices of payment method. If for any reason you do not wish to purchase a product via our third party secure e-commerce facility then please contact us. We do not handle your credit card details or store them in any way. Choose your preferred option for payment when you check out.
Back Orders
We operate a back order system, if your items are not in stock or expected to arrive from our suppliers imminently then we will issue a refund.
Guarantee
The manufacturers guarantee applies. Goods are usually covered against defects in manufacture for 12 months.
Accuracy
The Handcrafted Card Company has taken every care to represent the products for sale accurately.
Paper and Card
We are adding variety to our stock all the time. The finished sizes of card and paper may vary very slightly from the sizes given. The colours of the paper and card may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the manufacture of the product.
Colours
Due to variations in monitor setting and colour reproduction, the colour of the products may vary slightly to the actual item shown on this website.

We try to avoid these at all costs! In the unlikely event of a complaint we will acknowledge within 5 working days and provide a timescale within which we will work to resolve the dispute. We will keep the client informed of any progress. |

Wedding Stationery Terms and ConditionsAlterations
The client agrees to notify The Handcrafted Card Company immediately of any changes to names, addresses, dates etc. The Handcrafted Card Company will endeavour to make any changes free of charge if production is not in process.
Copyright
All artwork and designs are copyright of The Handcrafted Card Company.
The client is responsible for obtaining permission for printed reproduction of any material, poems, hymns, songs etc that is requested by the client. The client indemnifies The Handcrafted Card Company against any action brought against it for breach of a third parties copyright.
Data Protection
The Handcrafted Card Company will not share any information you give with any third party.
Deposit
Orders cannot commence without a completed order form and a 50% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable any orders cancelled less than 6 weeks before the wedding are liable for full payment. Final payment is due when the order is dispatched.
Payment of the deposit is understood to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Delivery
Delivery is usually by Royal Mail Special Delivery; The Handcrafted Card Company reserves the right to use other carriers. Whilst every care is taken to pack the order The Handcrafted Card Company cannot be held liable for loss or damage in transit.
Miscellaneous
The Handcrafted Card Company will endeavour to supply the client as agreed but cannot be held liable for situations beyond it's control, for example, discontinued materials, postal disputes. In such cases a suitable alternative will be made available.
Our Products
The client should be aware that our products and packaging are not suitable for children.
As all wedding stationery items are handmade the client accepts there will be the slight variations between items.
If the client orders wedding stationery in stages then The Handcrafted Card Company cannot guarantee continuity of design.
The Handcrafted Card Company have made every attempt to represent our products as accurately as possible and any images we publish are for illustrative purposes only. Colour reproduction is as accurate as possible via the various mediums. The client can be certain that the proof is an accurate representation of the final product.
Proofs
While we take every care in producing your proofs it is the responsibility of the client to proof read any text prior to printing. Proofs must be signed, dated and returned or confirmed via email. Once the proofs have been signed off any further alterations may incur an additional charge.
Samples
The Handcrafted Card Company will provide one initial design change within the £4.99 sample fee. Any subsequent design alterations may incur a further design fee. The Handcrafted Card Company will issue a quote for the final product based on the client's chosen design. |
