Wedding Invitation Samples |
Wedding Invitation SamplesWe are happy to provide samples of our hand made day invitations to help you choose your wedding stationery. Due to the high degree of hand finishing we request that you contribute £4.99 towards the cost of each sample. Samples are limited to a maximum of three designs. This is, of course, refunded against your future order. To order your samples please order them below by adding them to your basket - should you have any difficulties then please contact us and we'll do all we can to help.
Your sample(s) will illustrate not only the quality of our work but also some of the design options available, for example, our postal boxes and vellum wraps.
Should you wish to order your stationery from this sample then we do ask for it's return to exactly colour match. If minor amendments are required (for example the colour) then please send a colour swatch (most likely a small piece of fabric) along with the original sample. From this information, along with our discussions about your requirements and your wedding invitation insert text we will issue a hard copy proof.
We do not charge for proofs or the colour changes you may require to coordinate the wedding stationery with your wedding theme or colours. However any further design alterations may incur a design or origination fee but we tell you about this before we begin any work.
As all wedding stationery samples are handmade to order please allow up to 10 working days for delivery.

Ordering Your Wedding StationeryOrdering your handmade wedding stationery is easy:
- You can order wedding invitation samples securely online using Paypal (please scroll to the bottom of this page). Simply select the sample you require and add it to your shopping basket.
- To order of a wedding stationery design in our showcase(although you may wish to alter the colours etc) please fill in our online order form then post or fax it to us. For a no obligation quote for your wedding stationery please fill in our online quote and press 'send enquiry'.
- If you require a bespoke design or you would like further advice please phone our studio and leave a message on our answer machine and we will respond within 24 hours. It may be helpful if you have filled in an online quote so that we have all the relevant information to hand.
We have no minimum order quantity for handmade wedding invitations. We do advise early ordering as our lead times fluctuate. Express orders are available but they are liable to a surcharge. This is at our discretion and is dependant on the size of your order and our current workload.
We recommend that you order all your wedding stationery at once, with an estimate of the number of orders of service, menus etc so that we can book your production slot and ensure continuity of your design (exact numbers can be clarified at a later date). We always advise ordering a few spares for extra guests and any errors if you are planning to write out your invitations yourself.
You will receive a proof of your wedding invitation, which needs approval before work can begin. At this stage we will require a 50% deposit. Your proof can be approved via email or hardcopy in the post.

DeliveryOnce we have received the final balance your stationery will be dispatched. A signature will be required for all deliveries (our usual carrier is Parcelforce), so please ensure you designate a delivery address where someone can sign for your wedding stationery.
We notify you of the tracking number of the parcel and keep track of it ourselves however The Handcrafted Card Company can not accept responsibility for loss or damage of any items once they have been dispatched.
Delivery is £10 for each delivery unless the total order value exceeds £500 in which case delivery is free of charge.
